Defense Rests in Baxter Capital Murder Trial – Christopher Baxter, one of the defendants in the death of George County’s late sheriff, Gary Welford, has been on trial this week.  The defense wrapped up their summation today, after the procsecution wrapped yesterday.  This guy’s life is over.  I just wish Mississippi didn’t have the “stupid” law (If you have an IQ < 75, you can’t be put to death).  Personally, I think the law is stupid.  This boy should die for what he did.

Kidnap/Slaying Suspect Kills Himself, Kidnapped Girls OK -This is just so sick and twisted, I don’t know where to start.  Unfortunately, the guy was too much of a chicken to face up to what he did, he had to kill himself.  At least he didn’t kill the other girls.  It’s just so sad the mother and the oldest child had to die.  As for the wife and mother of the suspect?  I hope the authorities fry them for participating.

Obama Supports Gay Marriage – I know this happened yesterday, but this is the first I have a chance to write about it.  Obama has finally shown his true colors (rainbow anyone?), and I hope he pays dearly politically for it.  I think it has already started to happen, as Rasmussen has Romney 7% ahead of Obama.  I know it’s still early, but we can only hope and pray that this will turn into a trend.  Everyone out there that believes that marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman, especially Christians, need to let their voices be heard – especially at the ballot box next November.

Vet Activist Radio Talk Show Host Shot Dead in Bedroom – This is a terrible, sad tragedy.  I hope they find whoever did this, and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.  According to several sources, this woman was a hard worker and loved her community.  She was always helping people out, and always fighting for veterans’ affairs.  May she rest in peace, and May God be with her family.

AG Eric Holder Suing AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio – I agree with Sheriff Joe here.  Holder, get your own house in order, before you’re evicted by We, the People.

History is a voice forever sounding across the centuries the laws of right and wrong. Opinions alter, manners change, creeds rise and fall, but the moral law is written on the tablets of eternity.

Several things have prompted me to restart this blog.   Everything from our country’s steady moral decline, our inept and totally immoral President, to our runaway debt that the Government has no intention to resolve has made me decide to blog again.  Hopefully, you’ll read this site and see the truth about what is going on in and to our great nation.

I’ll also try to provide words of inspiration from different sources, including some of my favorite authors and figures from history.  (Yes, this includes the Bible).  This country needs spiritual guidance again, from the top down.  (Or should I say, from the bottom up?)

Make no mistake – the greatest institution in this world is the family, not government.  This country should be governed by the people from the people, not from special interests and rich fat cats like George Soros.  Hopefully I can make some meager contributions in the future to help people see what we need to do – collectively, as well as individually.  If we don’t take our country back now, I’m afraid we’re going to lose it…
