It’s been over a month since my last post. With the state of our nation to things going on at work, I just haven’t found the time to sit down and jot down my thoughts. I suppose I have just become so disgusted with our government and politicians that I found myself with my mouth and mind wide open, but nothing coming out…I am that frustrated.
I’m sick of our President sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong (à la “Gates-gate”). I’m also sick and tired of him trying to push on ordinary Americans his rediculous “Obamacare” that isn’t going to do anything but further bankrupt our country and turn citizens into Obamabots. But of course, that’s what he wants. He wants people to NOT be self-sufficient, but to rely on the government for anything from toothpaste to toupees to Tylenol.
I just listened to an interesting clip of Fred Thompson’s show where he interviewed a woman by the name of Betsy McCaughey, former lieutenant governor of New York. She had just read the House “Obamacare” bill, which will deny health care to the elderly. It’s almost Soylent Green come true — the only thing the big “G” isn’t doing is turning the elderly into little green wafers. She said that the bill makes it mandatory that people in Medicare have to go through a counseling session every five years that teaches them how to end their life sooner. How crazy is this??
We must stop this crazy, out-of-control, runaway Government train. This is enough to make my eyes pop out of my head!
