Starting the Health Challenge




I have really been slack­ing on read­ing my favorite blogs.  So when I vis­ited John Pozadzides’ blog today and came across his Health Chal­lenge posts, I was intrigued and enlight­ened.  He has really dis­ci­plined him­self to lose weight and get in shape.  And I applaud him — his dis­ci­pline is truly astounding.

So, I resolved that it is past time that I do this and get myself into shape.  I have been telling myself every­day “I need to lose weight.”  Yet, I haven’t done any­thing to get that ball rolling.  I haven’t had dis­ci­pline.   Well, today that will end.

I am going to take John’s Health Chal­lenge and lose weight, if only it’s to prove to myself that I can do it.  I’ll post my start­ing num­bers, as well as reg­u­lar updates, here on my blog.  I’ll also try to post what I’ve been eat­ing, drink­ing, and all the dif­fi­cul­ties that I’m sure I’ll be hav­ing just to keep you updated.

Pray for me.  It’s not going to be easy.
