Obama Watch: "My job…"
Here’s the Obama quote of the day:
My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy.

Since when does the President of the United States have an obligation to anyone other than the People of the United States?? I may be mistaken, but doesn’t the oath of office say, “to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”? Nowhere in that oath does it lay an obligation to anyone else. The “Muslim world” did not elect him; the American people elected him (well, 52% of us, anyway).
This is absolutely outrageous and scary. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want the President of this country capitulating to the wishes of the Muslim world for their “acceptance”. Most of the people over there want us dead because we’re “infidels” to them. Why should we care what they think of us?
The fact that our President would use a Muslim television outlet as his first Presidential interview begs more questions.

Are you retarded? Don't you think that if we just keep treating them like the enemy, they will continue to be the enemy? Your President is a leader of the world, He has to do his part to maintain world order. How is addressing the people that hate us a bad idea?

Let me first say thanks for stopping by. Secondly, I would appreciate it if you would read the comment policy. I don't appreciate the inflammatory language you've used in your comment. I took the liberty in editing it out, since this is my blog.
Now to address your – concerns. The whole point of this post was that Obama addressed the "Muslim world" before he addressed the people he was elected to represent and protect.
Well we aren't convincing them of anything by torturing the shit out of people until they tell us what we want to hear. That I do know. Why hate on Obama for trying? It's not like he addressed them publicly then behind the scenes was like ok listen guys, I'm in the White House now, we can finally DESTROY THEM!!! Come on man. Use some logic when you think about things. We can just leave them alone and not address them, that obviously didn't work. Bombing the shit out of their country only recruits more suicide bombers, so why not try this angle. He's not handing over America to the Muslims. He is just saying "I'm not Bush, and things are gonna be a little different around here"
I'm not the least bit surprised he ran to the Muslim world and started apologizing for the Evil America – since he doesn't believe himself this country is good. We would know this if the medai did their job – but no, now we are stuck with him for at least 4 more years. Oh, and he's not the President of the World – that is God

You obviously know about as much about Islam as the President does, which is almost nothing. An "infidel" is a non-believer in Islam. There will never be a way that we can "show we aren't the 'infidels' they think we are." We will always be infidels to them. According to Islamic belief and the teachings of the Q'uran, infidels are worse than dogs and deserve to die. This is what they teach – why don't you research it? Believe me, I have.
And to address your last statement (I know you said it sarcastically), but I am beginning to believe that he never left what he was taught in the madrasah in Indonesia. I initially gave him the benefit of the doubt, but now he is showing his true colors – and they are disheartening.
Yeah, I wrote "A" leader of the world. There are quite a few of them. And don't bring that religion bull into this. Religion is the reason this is happening. If "god" was sitting up there in "heaven" ruling the world, why would this war be happening? Oh it's all apart of god's plan…god plan? Let me tell you what, your god's plan SUCKS.
