Okay, fellow Americans. I have been reading up on some comments posted on some of the major news sites today. The consensus seems clear: get rid of all the politicians that voted for the bailout.
I agree.
So, I call on all the Mississippians who are in Chip Pickering’s district (District 3, I believe) — come November 4 — to vote against him. I don’t care who you vote for, just don’t vote for him. Representatives Taylor, Thompson, and Childers did the smart thing and voted against the bailout bill. Senators Roger Wicker and Thad Cochran did also. So I guess they get to stay.
I was also planning on voting for the John McCain/Sarah Palin ticket. Well, because of this “bailout” and McCain’s undying support for it, he just lost my vote. No, I’m not voting for Barack Hussein Obama/Joseph Robinette Biden either.
I’m voting for Ron Paul. I urge every American out there that is sickened by this act to do the same. If we don’t take back control of what is ours (the Government), then things will only get worse and worse. Say NO! to Socialism — Say YES! to Capitalism and smaller government.
I also plan on shaking up the local government as well. I will research all of those in the Mississippi State Government that expressed support for this bill and call for their expulsion as well. Check back tomorrow; I should have a list generated by then.
It’s obvious that the bailout did not work. The Dow has been consisently sliding down for the past week. Today at 1:42 p.m. CST is was down 712 points — nearly 7% in one day! It is apparent to me that Socialist Comrade Bush and the elitest Washington crowd only want to turn the country on its head by making is the U.S.S.A. (United Socialist States of America) by redistributing taxpayers’ wealth to those who knew they couldn’t afford the things they were buying.
It’s time for the rest of us to say no more. And I’m saying it.
