Gulf Coast WordPress Meetup Coming to Mobile

When I went to WordCamp Dallas, I met a lot of nice, tech-savvy people who enjoy blogging as much as I do. I learned a lot about the blogging platform WordPress, which I am using on this blog. I had such a great experience, I wanted to bring some of that home to the Gulf Coast.

The bloggers in the Dallas, TX, region even get together around once a month to hang out and have a good time with other bloggers in the area. Since I can’t drive to Dallas once a month, I decided it would be a good idea to start a meetup group here on the Gulf Coast. On September 11, I formed the Gulf Coast WordPress/Blogging Meetup group.

The reason I formed this group is the same reason other meetups have formed across the country and around the world – to give bloggers a chance to meet, collaborate, and just have a great time with other bloggers. So, if you would be interested in attending this meetup, it’s being held on October 25 at 7:00 p.m. at The Bakery Cafe in Mobile. There’s only 14 slots, so go ahead and sign up! It’ll be a great experience, I promise.
