In fact, I think the fact you went to places without gas let&#039;s you know that anything in that price range was not price gouging. &lt;br&gt;For this particular moment in time based on the price of oil and the capacity to refine gasoline, I would figure prices above $5.25 or $5.50 to be bordering the price gouging line. &lt;br&gt;In Alabama we have an anti-price gouging law. This essentially scares businesses into not charging what they could. Of course, Alabama and Georgia (The other state with this law) also had the highest number of stations without gas.</description>
